The Elevator That Goes to a Floor That Doesn't Exist
A hospital in São Paulo has an elevator that occasionally stops at a floor between 3 and 4. The doors open. The hallway is lit. No one has ever stepped out and come back the same.
Hospital Santa Catarina has 12 floors. The elevator panel shows 12 buttons. But three times in the last year, the elevator has stopped between floors 3 and 4 — a floor that does not exist in the building's blueprints.
